Since 2006 Tommie Bonajo has been extensively non stop producing, writing, recording, mixing and mastering for numerous bands from all over the world.
After graduating from the University of Arts Utrecht (HKU) in 2006, receiving his "Master of Music with honours" degree, his studio career took off. Leading to the producing, mixing and mastering of hundreds of bands in the past 13 years.
Bonajo has developed a unique approach to sound through years of experience performing, recording and composing with many artists in a wide variety of genres from pop to singer-songwriter, but is widely known for his extremely energetic and fat "in your face" production sound within the rock and metal world.
As a performing musician with his former bands he has shared the stage with numerous iconic bands as Slayer, Machine Head, Motörhead, Trivium and Fear Factory and has traveled to international venues all over the world.
Next to producing Bonajo developed his skills as music composer and sound designer for film and art installations. Movies he has worked on have been nominated and premiered on international film festivals such as IDFA, Rotterdam Film Festival and the Berlinale.
“While listening to this record the production immediately stands out. This sounds very professional. This is a sound you would expect from a Roadrunner band with big studio budget.”
“With a very professional sound (props for the production) this effortless reaches Nuclear Blast norms”
“It seems the band has found a formula for success by working together with producer Tommie Bonajo, because the new sound elevates the band to a whole new level”
“It’s unbelievable that this album was self released. The production and mix sound perfect and the songs are of great craftsmanship.”
"the Dutch band THE ROYAL presents their second work entitled "Seven" with an impeccable production and mixing."
“A great, crazy tight production (Tommie Bonajo does it again!), the way Dream Theater should have sound on their first record.”
“The sound of the album is amazing and from very high quality. If you didn’t know they are from The Netherlands, you would think this is an American band, without being overproduced.”
"Because of the great production of this disc, all aspects of Blind Sight’s music sound exactly like they’re supposed to and with that alone they are at the top of their genre in this little country."
“Count in, with all this brute musical showmanship, the powerful production from Tommie Bonajo and you know you have a great energetic record in your hands.”
“I wanted to give it a three star review, which means, great disk! But because of the awesome, crystal clear production I wil throw in an extra half star. The sound is often overlooked by unsigned bands without a big budget, but not on this record”
